To follow up with some of the announcements made during tonight's
Mafia Wars Live broadcast, the
Mafia Wars blog has made a post with some additional information. There will be 3 new "premium" boosts, and you'll be able to buy 10 of them for 12 RP. Here they are:

 | Vampire Batting
Restores your health by half the amount damage you deal. (i.e. If you deal 20 damage to your opponent, you will also regain 10 health.) | |
 | Ruthless
Doubles the damage you deal when you attack your opponent. | |
 | Decoy
Steals your opponent’s money when you lose a fight - instead of losing money. (This boost will only be activated when you lose a fight and your opponent has cash available to steal.) |
For a 'limited time', when you buy Reward Points, there's a chance that you'll get double the RP you paid for, or at least 'bonus RP'. Hm.
Details are sketchy on this one, but I'm interested. A limited time job that costs 1000 energy to perform, which can be mastered 25 times for the Thin Ice loot item, a vehicle of (150,100). That's an awful lot of energy for the one loot item....but then again, if you're a serious energy player, that's probably no big deal for you! :0)
