Zynga's Q&A: #12 Customer Support availability

Zynga Q & A #12 I need support!

Usually when somebody complains about something all the time I tend to label them nothing more than a whiner. In Zynga's case I can't say that at all. The vast majority of players see their Customer Service as sub par.

Directly from Zynga's lovely Q & A list I present you with a topic that is bound to generate some heated comments. Zynga's Customer Support (or lack of).

#12 on the list: I wish there were more customer support agents with whom I can chat live, as they always end up being the most helpful.

We are always making improvements within our customer support department, but live chat is not always available and not available to everyone. This Mafia Wars GetSatisfaction page is also a great way to get answers to common questions and player-wide issues.

Zynga offers many ways to get in touch with them. They have a Mafia Wars support page where you can get some information from their 411's.

They have a live chat option, but half the time you have to wait forever to get a representative, or the option simply isn't available.

You can always choose to send them an e-mail, but getting anything accomplished through there is touch and go.

Of course there is alway the Zynga Mafia Wars Forums and their getsatisfaction community forums.

However, as is, Zynga's Customer Service leads to a lot of player frustration. Here at Mystyfied we have tackled some of the player's CS stories in great detail. Sue's Story and Matt's Story as well as Mr. Anonymous' Story. Mistyfied even delved a little deeper into Customer Service ideals.

Now is your chance to give voice to your thoughts on how Zynga's Customer Support is.

  1. A great many of the CS agents have no clue about how the game is played. They don't possess the knowledge to understand what we are talking about & "wing it" with canned responses that are scripted to appeal to the our ego/vanity.

If the agents are really "players just like" us then why don't they grasp what our issues are and answer us with a solution and stop patronizing us?
