End Of Days mission event, mission #8: ...With A Whimper

This is the 8th mission in the End Of Days mission event for Mafia Wars, called "... With a Whimper". This is fortunately another mission that can be completed without too much hassle on your part--a big relief to me, given the rocky start of this mission event. When I got to this mission today, the objective of asking for 30 satchel charges was already completed.

Before you begin 0/20 LOOT 20 MEDIATORS FROM JOB: "CATCH A SABOTEUR", make sure you fill your Lockpick crew member in Chicago activated, that will make looting 20 Mediators a little less painful, as you will get double loot drops while that crew member is active.

For the objective of robbing 30 docks, you needn't waste stamina on clearing whole robbing boards, unless you just want to. I cleared a few boards, but then I switched to my rivals list and just started robbing someone's dock over and over. It won't count for unsuccessful robbing attempts, but you can rob the same target over and over, and each successful robbing attempt will count.

... With a Whimper

Rosario Dominquez

I read in a poem once: this is how the world shall end - not with a bang, but with a whimper.

Objectives

  • 0/20 LOOT 20 MEDIATORS FROM JOB: "CATCH A SABOTEUR".

    Middle-men do serve a purpose.
  • 30/30 ASK FOR 30 SATCHEL CHARGES FROM MAFIA.

  • 0/30 ROB 30 DOCKS.

We will just be borrowing this - forever!
